La Stella's Spotlight on...

We all know that our favorite actors and actresses are going to be reprising their roles in New Moon. But what about other roles? This post Spotlight is shining on:

Mr. Jackson Rathbone

Hurt: Conrad

Set in Arizona, HURT follows the Coltrane family as they grapple with the untimely death of the father, Robert. Forced to abandon their privileged lifestyle, Helen Coltrane and her teenage children Conrad and Lenore are given shelter by her husband's reclusive brother Darryl in his ramshackle home in the desert. As the family reluctantly settles in, a fresh challenge is presented by the arrival of Sarah , a lovely yet troubled foster child whom Robert had pledged to take in. The family's grief turns to dread as a series of tragic, inexplicable incidents befall them.

S.Darko: Jeremy

S. Darko follows Donnie Darko's younger sister, Samantha , who, in the wake of his death, has found herself at age 17 with a broken family, mired in feelings of insignificance. She and her best friend Corey set off on a road trip to Hollywood in a bid to 'make it big', but their journey is cut short when their car breaks down unexpectedly, leaving them stranded in a small desert town. When a meteorite happens to crash-land nearby, Samantha is plagued by bizarre visions telling of the universe's end and it appears that their breakdown was part of some grander plan.

Dread: Stephen
Stephen and Cheryl are college students making a documentary about what people dread in life. But they have no idea that their partner Quaid , witnessed his parents being murdered by an axe-wielding lunatic and wants to make others experience his own personal horror. The three set out to document people revealing their life’s most terrifying moments. But Quaid quickly grows bored with mere interviews and decides to take the study to a much more visceral level, causing all three to become vulnerable as they reveal their fears in front of the camera. Just as Stephen and Cheryl realize they have partnered with a madman, they also find themselves subjects of the hideous experiment they brought to life… learning more about fear and dread than any human mind can stand.

DaZe. Vol. Too : Jehosefat
Daze takes place over three days told nonlinearly alternating scenes from the three days. Each day has a different visual style, color, and theme. The red day is about love , the green day is about money, and the blue day is about death. A radio contest provides a series of events that juxtapose the struggle to obtain these three things and the bizarre ways in which they might just happen.

The Last Airbender: Sokka
The story follows the adventures of the successor to a long line of Avatars who must put aside his irresponsible ways and stop the Fire Nation from enslaving the Water, Earth and Air nations.

As if Jackson wasn't enough in S.Darko, we also get Ed Westiwick and James Lafferty. Triple jizz in my pants. Hurt looks good too. I hope these get distributed.

And The Last Air Bender was filming in Philly. If we had known back then, FemmeFatale and I would have stalked Jackson's ass. If he comes back, we def will.
